Our facilities

FA S.p.A. operates modern, fully integrated facilities covering the entire production cycle of cast iron and stainless steel gravity casting. Each production area is designed to ensure process control, consistent quality, and manufacturing flexibility, meeting the requirements of highly demanding sectors such as automotive and industrial applications.

Core making department

The core making department produces both cold-box and hot-box cores, which are essential for creating the internal cavities of castings. Advanced processes and carefully selected materials ensure high dimensional accuracy, stability, and surface quality, contributing significantly to the final quality of the component.

Molding

Molding is carried out using sand molds designed to ensure uniformity, strength, and repeatability. This process enables the production of complex geometries with high reliability, forming the cavities that will subsequently be filled with molten metal.

Fusione

Gli impianti di fusione utilizzano forni elettrici e a induzione per la produzione di leghe in ghisa e acciaio inox. Il controllo preciso di temperatura e composizione chimica garantisce colate affidabili e ripetibili. Prestazioni elevate anche per componenti complessi e ad alta sollecitazione.

Finitura

La fase di finitura comprende sbavatura, lavaggio, ispezione e controlli finali al 100% dei getti. Ogni componente viene verificato per assicurare l’assenza di difetti, il rispetto delle specifiche dimensionali e la conformità agli standard qualitativi richiesti dal cliente.
