Our facilities

FA S.p.A. operates modern, fully integrated facilities covering the entire production cycle of cast iron and stainless steel. Each production area is designed to ensure process control, consistent quality, and manufacturing flexibility, meeting the requirements of highly demanding sectors such as automotive and industrial applications.

Cores production department

In this department they produce cold-box and hot-box cores, which are essential to obtain the internal cavities of castings. Advanced processes and carefully selected materials ensure high dimensional accuracy, stability, and surface quality, contributing significantly to the final quality of the component.

Molding

Molding is carried out using sand molds designed to ensure uniformity, strength, and repeatability. This process enables the production of complex geometries with high reliability, forming cavities that will subsequently be filled with melted metal.

Melting

The melting is performed using electric and induction furnaces, producing cast iron and stainless steel components in different alloys. Precise control of temperature and chemical composition ensures reliable and repeatable castings, mandatory when components have to guarantee resistance to high performances.

Finishing

The finishing phase includes deburring, washing, inspection, and 100% final checks of all castings. Each component is verified to ensure the absence of defects, compliance with dimensional specifications, and conformity to the quality standards required by the customer.
